How we spend the day

We’re a small daycare on purpose. With so few children in our care, we get to know how each one learns, what excites them, and where they need a little more support, so teaching stays personalized instead of one-size-fits-all.

Our approach blends Montessori, Reggio Emilia, and play-based learning to support each child’s development in a joyful and respectful environment.

Montessori

Toddlers gain confidence through hands-on tasks like spooning dry pasta or unlocking latches on a busy board, activities that develop focus and fine motor skills.

Reggio Emilia

Children explore the natural world by collecting raindrops in jars, observing puddles, or tracing shapes in the dirt with sticks and stones.

Play-based learning

Everyday moments become meaningful lessons, like acting out animal sounds during storytime, or sorting colorful balls in a pretend “grocery shopping” game.

Children also take part in self-help tasks such as dressing, feeding themselves, and cleaning up after activities, building independence, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning.
